Membership Information

Okinawan Karate of Rochester Hills follows all rules and regulations set forth by the North American Beikoku Shido-kan Association.
Membership and Tuition
All new members of our Dojo receive membership to the North American Beikoku Shido-kan Association for the current calendar year in which they join. Yearly membership for the Beikoku is the student's responsibility to maintain. Membership is required to achieve belt rank. Membership dues for Okinawan Karate of Rochester Hills can be paid by the month or year. Beikoku Association membership is offered in 1, 3 or 5 year options.
Tuition is non-transferable and non-refundable. Sickness, injury, or other personal reasons do not waive member's obligation for payment of membership dues. Payment will not be suspended for any student's prior or future absences.
Attendance
It is the student's responsibility to maintain attendance while enrolled as an active member of the dojo. Attendance cards are issued to track attendance. A mininum attendance of two days per week is recommended.
Special Training Opportunities
All students will have opportunity to train directly with Sensei Iha upon invitation to monthy Shibu dojo training and at the annual National Training Seminar. Prices for special events will be posted and details of the events will be distributed both during regular class times and at the news page.
